More FM People’s Choice Award

Recently, Southlands ‘More FM’ radio show hosted a People’s Choice Award for Southland to vote who they think the best local artist is that deserves this award. We received a very exciting phone call from radio host Corbyn Shuttleworth, telling us the news that we had made the top 5 finalists from the nominations of this award! Once finalists were announced, people had to then vote their top pick out of the 5 on Facebook - which was pretty exciting (and nerve-racking) to watch, as we could see the vote counts!! After about 5 days of voting, we were announced as the winners, and then were brought into the radio studio for a wee interview and a song! With winning this, we get to perform at the Southland Music Awards held on the 4th of July at the Ascot! We feel so privileged to have won this award, we were up against some very tough competition!
