Strumming Our Way To Tamworth

On the 20th August 2023 we ran our fundraising concert and were joined on stage by some of Southlands finest musicians. Concert goers were treated to a fabulous afternoon of epic performances from our special guest artist Melissa Partridge, Chris Chilton, Simon Thomson, Troubadours, Rachel Mercer, Josh Smith, Hollie Longman, Kaitlyn Tomlins, Toni Biddle, The Trill, In The Pocket, Bonnie Turner, Briar Sharp, Lachie Hayes, Steve Broad, Summer McKenzie and the Dollys. They were backed by the fantastic band Swing Street along with the combination of Steve Broad and Toni Biddle compering the event for us.

We feel incredibly humbled to have all of these wonderful musicians coming together to support Summer McKenzie and Dollys trip to Tamworth in January. A massive thanks to the huge amount of people that supported the concert by buying tickets, raffles and a huge thanks to all of our performers for their time, Swing Street, In The Pocket for lighting, Tom Moana and Charlie Bronson for providing excellent sound mixing and lastly a massive thankyou to the Invercargill Working Mens Club for providing such a great venue free of charge.
